The quickest path to happiness is appreciation.


Appreciation is simply giving value to things in your life. what are the most important things in your life right now? Are you treating them like their worth?


We tend to be the least happy when we focus on the negative, the things we’ve lost, the things we lack, the things that feel scarce. It’s the focus which decides the emotion, and because of that determines our thoughts and feelings. 


To improve the way we feel, we simply need to put effort in becoming aware of how much we sabotage our own happiness. We can’t control much in this universe, but we have some say with how we handle the things that come our way. Even if we fake a smile, it’s a step in the right direction towards feeling better (fake it til you make it)


We all have things worth our gratitude, maybe we need to make a list EVERYDAY, our thoughts control our day, let’s practice being happy.
